Church Goers Ask Pastors To Buy Guns For Them Using Tithes Money, Cleric Claims

A cleric in Kaduna, Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure has said that as a priest, people has begin to be asking him to buy arms for them using offerings and tithes money.

Speaking at the grand finale of the prayers and indoor protest sessions by Southern Kaduna Indigenes at ECWA Goodnews Church in Kaduna, he said, the present situation, if not arrested, may lead to revolution, where people would be forced to come out and defend themselves against the armed militia.

He said despite the presence of armed soldiers deployed by the Federal Government, the bloody crises in the communities remained unabated.

He asked the Federal Government to arrest the senseless bloodshed going on in Southern Kaduna before it leads to revolution.

The cleric said that the problem in Southern Kaduna has gone beyond negotiation, why peace meeting without inviting those people whose relations were killed.

Apostle Kure who is also the National Secretary Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), opined that President Muhammadu Buhari and other politicians need to stop speaking for the Fulani if they are serious in resolving the problems in the Country and the age-long Southern Kaduna crisis.

He concluded by calling for a national conversation were Nigerians can talk to each other.

Ganduje Vows To Sign Blasphemer’s Death Warrant

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has vowed that he will sign the death warrant of the man who was sentenced to death by the Sharia Court for insulting Prophet Muhammad.

The governor stated this at a gathering of religious leaders, legal practitioners security personnel and government officials at the government house Kano on Thursday.

However, Governor Ganduje explained that the law of the land provides that the convicted person has the right to appeal within 30 days which if it elapses and the warrant is brought before him he will sign it.

Also speaking at the gathering the Kano state chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA Aminu Sani Gadanya stated that the state NBA is in total support of the court judgement.

He however reminded the the public that the law of the land provides that the convicted person has the eight to appeal and the state can only execute the judgement after the convicted person has exhausted all his rights to appeal.

Also, leaders of the various Islamic sects in the state, including Tijjaniyya, Qadiriyya and Izala, who spoke at the event declared support for the judgement and called on the Governor to ensure that he signs the warrant when it is presented to him.

Blasphemy: ‘Shun Activists Rant, Approve The Execution Of Shariff’ Shari’ah Council Urges Ganduje

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has been urged by the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria, SCSN, to approve the execution of the musician, Shariff Yahaya Shariff, recently sentenced to death by Shari’ah court in Kano for alleged blasphemy.

SCSN applauded the courage of Qadi Ali Kani of the Upper Shari’ah Court Gyadi-Gyadi Kano for charging, trying and convicting the Islamic gospel singer, accused of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad.

According to the Sharia Council, Governor Ganduje should immediately ensure the execution of the court judgment to serve as a deterrent to others.

Recall that an upper Sharia court in the Hausawa Filin Hockey area of Kano State while delivering judgment on August 10, 2020, said Shariff Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, 22, was guilty of committing blasphemy for a song he circulated via WhatsApp in March.

In a statement yesterday, SCSN Secretary General, Nafi’u Baba-Ahmed, asked Governor Ganduje to ignore human right activists asking for pardon for the singer.

The council reminded Nigerians, especially the secular human rights group that the judgment is in line with the Supreme Court judgment in the case of Abubakar Shalla vs State (2007) 12 MJSC at page 52 to 53 paragraph G-B, which says ‘that the position of the Law under Shari’ah is that any sane and adult Muslim, who insults, defames, or utters words or acts which are capable of bringing into disrepute, odium, contempt of the Holy Prophet, such a person has committed a serious crime which is punishable by death.

The council however, call on Muslims to be mindful of their utterances as the Prophet (SAW) said, ‘Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Say should say what is right or keep silent”.

Edo 2020: God Is Yet To Speak To Me, The Prophecy You Heard Is Not From Me’ TB Joshua Denies Prophecy Rumour

The General Overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T. B. Joshua, has denied giving any prophecy on the September 19 governorship election.

The cleric stated this in a statement that any such story of him giving a prophecy about what will be the outcome of the forthcoming Edo election was entirely false and it is a prophecy propagated by Satan.

The statement was made in reaction to some articles circulating on the internet claiming that Prophet T. B. Joshua has given a prophecy regarding the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State.

It enjoined the populace to desist from taken hearsay seriously and that as the Bible says in John 8:44 that Satan is ‘the father of lies’, thus people should not listen to the father of lies, the sons of lies and the daughters of lies.

He further said that God requires that man find out the truth from Him first and hold fast to that which is true, as the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

The church noted that Emmanuel TV is the only official mouthpiece of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) and if any news is not coming form the TV, it should be disregarded.

Woman Arrested For Burning A 14-Year-Old Private Part

A woman, Mrs. Iyema Oyemola Oyewole has been arrested for allegedly subjecting a 14-year-old girl under her care to ward to a series of brutal torture.

According to information gathered, Mrs. Iyema Oyemola Oyewole, a deaconess of Living Faith Church in Barnawa, Kaduna took the 14-year-old Princess into her house after the minor parent has been displaced by bandits following an attack on their community. As a result, Princess’ parents had to place their daughter in the home of as they didn’t want her to be homeless.

While at the deaconess’ home, Princess was allegedly subjected to torture from the deaconess and from her children while the husband allegedly turned a blind eye.

It was alleged that Princess was stopped from going to school after the woman found a carrot in the girl’s bad.

It was also gathered that Princess was made to sleep in the toilet and she had to drink water from the toilet when thirsty. In addition to all that, she was beaten frequently.

Reports claim that the Deaconess tortures the girl by putting a knife on fire till it’s hot before using it to burn Princess all over her face.

It was alleged that the Deaconess also burns the girl’s vagina with lighter and sometimes inserts a hot stick into her vagina while her daughters help her hold the girl’s legs open. Afterwards, they would allegedly apply pepper to her vagina.

She also allegedly refused to let the girl’s parents see her each time they tried because she didn’t want them seeing the injuries on her body. Whenever Princess’ parents showed up, she told them they couldn’t come in because of Coronavirus.

Eventually, Princess’ father became suspicious and got the NGOs involved. They were shocked at the state they finally saw Princess in.

When the deaconess was questioned, she said she didn’t know the fire she used to torture the girl was that hot.
