Enugu International Airport to receive flights from Monday – Official

The Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, will start receiving commercial flights will on Monday at the renovated airport says Chris Okoye, Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum committee on the refurbishment of the airport.

He made this known to The PUNCH on Saturday, noting that the refurbished runway is the second in Nigeria after Abuja built with fiberglass.

It was reported that a Notice to Airmen(NOTAM) was issued by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency(NAMA) on Friday. The NOTAM, had given approval to flight operations starting from 7:00am to 7:00pm effective Monday, September 7, 2020.
